About Us
DMC Koyasan Co., Ltd., which was founded by Regional Economy Vitalization Corporation of Japan (REVIC) *1 in 2020, focus on regional economy revitalization in Koyasan and are a member of General Incorporated Association Koya city Tourist Association (DMO Koya-cho).
Our goal is to boost the regional economy in Koyasan area by utilizing its rich, unique cultural resources in collaboration with such stakeholders as local businesses, Japan Tourism Agency, Agency for Cultural Affairs, and top-ranked Japanese enterprises. More profoundly, we are aiming to create a comprehensive regional vitalization model driven by public-private partnerships as part of the Government’s Industrial Strategy.
Besides “Koyasan Digital Museum”, we are setting out economic blueprints, investing in people, places and enterprises, to propel the region into a global tourist destination.
*1. REVIC is one of the extra-departmental organizations of Japanese Cabinet Office. It focuses on regional economy revitalization through business support for local enterprises.
